A PROTECTION SPELL FOR SOMEONE ELSE

This wonderful protection spell for someone else comes from Magical Witch and is a really powerful way to send protective energies and magick to someone who is in need of it that can’t be reached at the moment. Use this spell to protect someone far away who who is in trouble, or someone who is travelling.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  1. One figure candle
  2. Garlic
  3. One each red, white and black candles
  4. Sea salt
  5. Cloves
  6. Protection oil & clove oil

STEP ONE: WRITE THE NAME SEVEN TIMES

First, write the name of the person that needs protection on the front of your figure candle. Do this seven times starting from the bottom and writing the name upward. Next, write the petition (what you’re asking for) on the back of the figure candle.

STEP TWO: PLACE SEA SALT IN A CROSS

Place the sea salt in a cross formation on a plate or on your altar, whichever you prefer. If you’d like, chant the petition or say a prayer of your chooosing over the salt cross to infuse it with your intention of protection. Finally, place the figure candle in the center of the salt cross.

STEP THREE: PLACE CLOVES AROUND THE CANDLE

Using the cloves, surround your figure by placing them into and onto the salt cross. Use your deep intention of protection and your emotion to invoke protective energies as you chant your petition or prayer once again.

STEP FOUR: COVER IN GARLIC

Use the garlic skin to cover the figure candle completely. Garlic is used commonly in protection magick, and in this case, is used to “shield” those whom you cast this spell for.

STEP FIVE: ADD OILS

Now add ritual oil of your choosing (clove oil is a great choice) to enhance your spell. Any oil that is meaningful for protection spells and rituals will work well.

STEP SIX: ANOINT & LIGHT CANDLES

Lastly, anoint your candles and infuse them with your intention for protection. Place your candles around your figure candle and light them as you focus your intention on the power of the spell.
