Hello, again lovely humans, and happy Full Moon in Leo! Strength is associated with Leo’s for some pretty obvious reasons and some lesser obvious symbolism. The first obvious choice for Leo and the Strength card is because of its big bold lion, but it is chock-full of fiery Leo symbolism. From its warm color pallet, to is confidence, and compassion the woman figure shows to the lion. Because although yes lions roar, they also make a holds bar “parent figure” of a friend group.
For this Full Moon, we examine our inner strengths first, which is seen with the Star. The Star is all about the ability to look within and find the positive, even when things look dire. As it seems, everyone had a sort of rough January, but we haven’t given up or let go of the notion that 2020 will be a good year. The Star can be a bit of frustrating blind optimism, but sometimes we need that “faith” in everything pulling through.
The advice in honing in our power this full moon is shown with the Chariot. The Chariot advises you to set goals and complete them. Even if you have a larger goal in mind, break down your goal into tiers or mini-goals. Sometimes bullet lists are in order, even if they seem a bit trivial. Don’t let anything get in your way when you are focusing on completing each goal. It’s also a great way to step back, observe what you have accomplished even if its not everything, a nice pat on the back.
How you can honor yourself, or celebrate your own being is seen with the Seven of Pentacles. The Seven of Pentacles is inaction if anything. You’re working hard, and putting in the foundations for positive change. Don’t rush yourself, it’ll grow at the speed its meant to. Remember that just as we plant seeds in real life, doesn’t mean we collect the fruit the very next day. Things take time to grow, and so do you and your goals.
Finally, the Nine of Cups shows us where we can expand in taking bigger risks. The Nine of Cups is kind of a materialistic little stinker. As for advice, it can be suggested, be careful what we wish for. So if we consider this in terms of, how to grow and expand, instead of looking outward to do so, look around you. This tells me that we already have everything we need, right here, to make it happen. So instead of comparing ourselves to others, or thinking that when we have this next thing on our “want” list, that suddenly we will be happy, learn to be happy with what you already have. Then the figurative wealth will follow.
Happy Full Moon again lovelies, embrace your inner lion.
